Men's Basketball

Following the celebration of its 100th season, a new era of Boston University Men's Basketball will begin in 2009-10.

Patrick Chambers, previously the associate head coach for Villanova during its run to the 2009 Final Four, was named the program's head coach.  He will bring an exciting style of play to Agganis Arena and the Roof.

Chambers was on the coaching staff at Villanova for five years, during which time he coached in four NCAA tournaments.  He will be greeted by a veteran team featuring nine seniors, including the top six scorers from the previous season.  BU returns senior Corey Lowe and junior John Holland -- both of whom were first-team All-America East selections -- and the last three America East Rookies of the Year in Holland, senior Tyler Morris and sophomore Jake O'Brien.

BU looks to earn the program's seventh NCAA tournament bid and 12th overall postseason appearance.

The Roof
While "The Roof" at Case Gymnasium will continue to serve as the primary home of Terrier Basketball, Agganis Arena will proudly host a partial schedule of basketball games during the season.
