Background
Catherine Pfau received her MMHS (Masters of Management in Human Services) from the Heller School at Brandeis University. Ms. Pfau joined the Alzheimer’s Disease Center (ADC) in 2000 as Projects Administrator.
ADC Role
Ms. Pfau is the Administrative Manager for the Clinical Core of the ADC as well as the Alzheimer’s Disease Clinical Research Program (ADCRP). She oversees the administrative aspects including hiring and personnel issues, grants management and reimbursement, and managing community relations. Ms. Pfau serves as a liaison for the Center with the Office of Research Administration and other BUMC offices. She fields community and academic inquiries regarding the Center’s mission and research activities.
Memberships
Ms. Pfau is the co-chair of the Boston Alzheimer’s Partnership, an organization that works with and supports the mission of the Alzheimer’s Association and is dedicated to helping persons of memory loss, their families, and caregivers.
