Professional

Receives the ASOR Newsletter and two of following three journals: BASOR, NEA, or JCS. Member discount on books and Annual Meeting registration. Eligible to apply for ASOR fellowships and grants. Eligible to present papers at the Annual Meeting and serve on editorial boards and academic committees. Eligible to vote at the ASOR member's meeting.
Student/Retired: $85 (current proof of status required). Overseas residents add $25.

Associate

Receives ASOR Newsletter. Member discount on books and Annual Meeting registration. Eligible to apply for ASOR fellowships and grants. Not eligible to present papers at the Annual Meeting, serve on editorial boards, or serve on academic committees. Not eligible to vote as the members' meeting.
Overseas residents add $13.

Sustaining

This category include all of the benefits as the Professional level, subscription to all three journals (instead of two), and a tax-deductible donation of $100.

Contributing

This category is designed especially for lay members.It includes a tax-deductible donation of $100 to ASOR and a subscription to NEA for $25. Other benefits are like the associate membership.

Heritage

$2,500

This membership entails a $2,500 tax-deductable contribution. $2,000 provides a scholarship or other dig support, and $500 supports the ongoing work of ASOR. ASOR will distribute funds as advised by the Heritage Member. If the Heritage member does not designate the funds, a selection committe will make the allocations. Heritage Members may choose to participate actively (on field teams or with laboratory work), or passively providing scholarship support to enable student or staff participation, underwrite equipment purchases or publication costs, or offer other assistance according to their own wishes and arrangements with project leaders.

This category of membership also receives the member discount on books and Annual Meeting registration.

Institutional

Receives ASOR Newsletter, BASOR and NEA, and JCS if requested. Member discount on books and Annual Meeting registration. Members of the Institution are eligible to attend the Annual Meeting at the discount registration rate and apply for ASOR fellowships and grants.
