Lynne (Howard) Severe (CFA’69) of Wharton, N.J., the bass player for the Boston-based band the Remains, released a new CD with his alternative rock band The Caterpillar Book. Visit myspace.com/thecaterpillarbook. He also recently wrote an art and poetry book with his wife, Sue.
Vern Miller (CAS’93) of Fort Pierce, Fla., founded Project 2000 International, an organization that secures donations for Haitian children and schools. Visit project2000international.org.
Klaas de Boer (SED’72) of Holland, Mich., published Rough Seas: An Immigrant’s Journey from Holland to Holland (2008), which describes his family’s emigration from the Netherlands in 1956.
Patricia Loiko (CAS’78) of Chicago, Ill., is executive director for museum registration at the Art Institute of Chicago. Previously, she was head registrar at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
Lainie J. Gallers (COM’97) of Los Angeles, Calif., married Michael S. Tarter on March 14, 2009, in Boca Raton, Fla. Lainie is the director of original series at the TNT television network.
