New York Film Academy
Date: Tuesday, November 10
Time: 5:00 pm
Notes: Filmmaker and New York Film Academy (NYFA) Director of Cultural Programs Michael Sandoval will be giving a short “intro to filmmaking” workshop, followed by a Q & A session on film education and NYFA programs in film, acting, producing, and the related media arts. More than 60 Boston University students have joined New York Film Academy programs over the last few years. Welcome to all students, especially those interested in careers in media.

Teach for India seeks the most outstanding students for 2010 Fellowship

Teach for India is a nationwide movement that aims to eliminate educational inequity in India by placing the world's most outstanding college graduates and young professionals in low-income schools to teach full-time for two years. The fellows then move on to become lifelong leaders working from within various sectors toward the pursuit of equity in education.

State Street Corporation
Date: Wednesday, November 18
Time: 4:00 - 5:00 pm
Notes: This information session will take place in School of Management, room 222
Reception immediately following in SMG, Room 114, from 5:00 - 6:00 pm
State Street representatives will be on campus to discuss the Fund Accountant position. State Street will conduct on campus interviews for January 2010 grads on 12/3/09. They will hold on campus interviews for May 2010 grads on 2/24/10. This info session is only open to Seniors. All majors are encouraged to attend. Eligibility: US Citizen or US Perm Resident only. Business dress required.
