Locker Rentals
Annual Lockers
Annual lockers
are available to Fitness and Recreation Center members.
All lockers are issued on a first come, first serve basis.
Annual locker rental (July 1 to June 30) may be purchased
for a one-time fee of only $60. Combined locker rental
with towel service for the year will also be available for
a one-time fee of only $80. These fees will be pro-rated throughout the year as appropriate.
Please note that if locker service is not renewed by June 30th for the following year, locker contents will be emptied and kept at the Pro Shop for 14 days. Following this period all items will be donated to charity.
Day Lockers
Each floor
has designated lockers for individuals interested in "daily
use only" lockers. Members are encouraged to lock up their belongings and to bring
their own locks or borrow one from the Pro Shop free of charge. All locks must be removed 15 minutes prior to facility
closing.
Procedures
Individuals using
a day locker in the Fitness & Recreation Center, must
adhere to the following procedures:
- Individuals may bring their own locks to use on any available day locker.
- Locks can also be checked out from the Pro Shop located on
Lower Level 1 (Pool Deck Level).
- Locks must be returned to the Pro Shop on the same day
that they are checked out.
- Individuals that lose or do not return locks will be assessed
a $10 replacement fee.
- If lockers are not cleared by the end of each business
day, Fitness and Recreation Center staff will remove all items in the lockers. Items will be kept
in Lost & Found located in the Pro Shop. After 14 days, all
abandoned locker contents will be donated to charity.
- All members are responsible for protecting
the welfare of other members while renting a locker.
- Lockers are to be used for legitimate recreational purposes
only.
- All lockers are the property of Boston University and
the Department of Physical Education, Recreation and Dance.
- Fitness and Recreation Center staff reserves the right
to check lockers for unreturned towels, equipment, and known safety/security
issues. This task is done with strict procedural controls. Patrons
will be notified should this occur.
