Prerequisites can be satisfied only by obtaining a B grade or better in the prerequisite courses, or by passing the department’s waiver exams.
Students are expected to satisfy the program prerequisites prior to enrolling in a second course and before any course that would require a specific prerequisite.
A Waiver Exam is available for MET AD 510 (Mathematics for Management). Students must take this waiver prior to the start of classes or must sign up for MET AD 510 in the first semester. Available in either online or classroom format.
No grade lower than B- may be used toward degree requirements. Students must maintain an overall grade point average of 3.0 in order to be in good academic standing and to graduate.
Students below a 3.0 cumulative GPA are on academic probation status. After being placed on probation students must, the following semester, make satisfactory progress toward achieving a minimum of 3.0 and be in a position to graduate with a 3.0 or better within the remaining program courses. Students who, in the determination of the department and based on past student performance, are not in a position to raise their GPA to the necessary level to graduate within the remaining courses will be terminated from the program. Students who have not removed themselves from academic probation status after one semester for full-time status or three semesters for part-time status will be terminated from the program.
