Richard H. Egdahl, MD, PhD — Dick Egdahl, the director of the Health Policy Institute, has been active both in health care business and as a surgeon, administrator, and researcher. He served as the Director of Boston University Medical Center from 1973 to 1996 and had been Chief of Surgery prior to that. Dick has founded or been a founding director of five start-up businesses, including HPR Inc. (now part of McKesson) where he served as its first board chairman from 1987 until 1994. Dr. Egdahl is also a trustee of the Pioneer family of mutual funds and of the Boston Medical Center. Susan Hamilton, BS— Susan Hamilton is senior program manager for HPI, where she has held administrative positions since 1980. She is also senior program manager for HCEP responsible for administration and market research. Susan received her B.S. degree from Boston University. |
