Our Mission
The mission of Boston University Sargent College is to advance, preserve, disseminate, and apply knowledge in the health and rehabilitation sciences. BU Sargent College strives to create an environment that fosters critical and innovative thinking to best serve the health care needs of society.
Areas of Study
Boston University Sargent College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences offers both undergraduate and graduate degree programs to prepare students for a broad range of research and clinical careers in health care and rehabilitation sciences including:

Research
From July 1, 2008 to March 31, 2009, BU Sargent College submitted 38 applications for funding. The total funds received from these awards for the College was $5,294,317.
U.S. News Best Graduate Schools
Over the years, U.S. News and World Reports' Best Graduate School rankings have consistently found the graduate programs at BU Sargent College to be among the best in the country. All of our professional graduate programs which are ranked, are ranked within the top 15% in the country. Specific rankings are as follows:
- Occupational Therapy Program ranked #1 (tied at the #1 spot) out of 152 programs
- Physical Therapy Program ranked #24 out of 199 programs
- Speech-Language Pathology Program ranked #25 out of 244 program
