Kathy Morgan

Professor and Chair of Health Sciences, Boston University Sargent College

BS, College of Mount St. Joseph, Cincinnati; PhD, University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine. Dr. Morgan’s research interests include interactions between signaling proteins and cytoskeletal proteins, the differentiated smooth muscle cell, and regulation of smooth muscle differentiation and hypertrophy. She has received grants from the National Institutes of Health and the American Heart Association. Dr. Morgan is a member of many professional societies, including the New England Smooth Muscle Society, the American Physiological Society, the American Heart Association (Council on Basic Science), the American Association for the Advancement of Science, and the International Society of Cardiovascular Pharmacotherapy.
