Assistant/Associate Professor

The Department of Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences at Boston University invites applications for the position of Assistant/Associate Professor. Qualifications include an earned doctorate with a specialty in one of the communication sciences or disorders areas and strong interest in teaching and research. Clinical certification is required. Priority will be given to candidates with a successful record or strong potential for obtaining external support for their research.

The Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences department offers a B.S. degree program, a M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology and Ph.D. programs. There are on-site Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology clinics plus affiliated clinics at the Boston University Medical Campus. The Boston area includes many highly regarded medical and educational institutions and will host the annual convention of the American Speech Language and Hearing Association November 15-17, 2007. BU faculty will be happy to meet with prospective candidates at the convention.
