The Office of Graduate Financial Assistance provides information and assistance to students applying for a wide range of financial aid. Most School of Education scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic and professional achievement; federal aid is based on need. Admitted students, including international students, are eligible to apply for School of Education scholarships and assistantships. Citizens or permanent residents of the United States are eligible to apply for loans directly through the Office.

Depending on additional eligibility criteria, students who are citizens/permanent residents may also be eligible to apply for special scholarships, residence hall positions, Federal Direct and Perkins Loans, and Federal Work-Study. Additional third party loans are available to credit worthy citizens and permanent residents. Some of these loans are also available to international students who are able to find a co-signer who meets the specific lender's requirements of a co-signer.
