Next Stop, Boston
How to ride the T safely and in style
By Edward A. Brown
Click on the slide show above to hear tips from two T experts.
Although it squeaks and groans and can sometimes be a trifle late, greater Boston’s public transportation system — known simply as the T — has been getting BU students around town for more than 100 years.
The recent addition of an electronic ticketing system may well make the whole process easier for young T rookies, but like mass transit everywhere, the T has its quirks.
In the slide show above, Laurel Koller (CAS’09) and Paola Mora (CAS’10) take the T through Boston, offering helpful tips and information on efficient riding. For more information about the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (the T), click here.
